A few months back I was preparing for an important job interview that I was exceptionally nervous about. The adjectives: calm, confident, secure, articulate, and trusting, did NOT describe my present state of being. I was a nervous wreck. I've known Karen for some time and knew she was practicing hypnosis and decided I had nothing to lose by giving hypnosis a shot. If nothing else, it would be interesting. We specifically targeted my nervous anticipation and anxiety relating to the job interview. Under her hypnosis I journeyed down a corridor to a flight of stairs. The flight of stairs lead into the restaurant in which my interview was to be conducted. I was escorted to our table by a beloved being (of my choice) and I received a gift. Under hypnosis, I was calm, cool, confident and could speak intelligently to my interviewers. When I returned to full awareness, I felt calm, cool, confident and most importantly, trusted that the interview would go as it should. It did, and I got the job!
